As far as my self-imposed schedule goes, I am extremely far behind in posting today or at the very least turned upside down. It a good thing that Seattle Jeff and The Wife has helped me out a bit in getting the beer news compiled for the week.
On we go . . .
- This did not catch my eye as much for the beers being released as it was for the potential label for the collaboration. Save for the offensive tones of green used it is quite an interesting beer label.
- I am one that enjoys a glass of wine now and again and probably not as much as I would actually like to, but I am quite surprised that wine has come even with beer as the alcoholic beverage of choice in the United States.
- Not that I am nearly close enough to frequent the place after it opens, but a Belgian heavy beer bar where this one looks to be sounds pretty cool to me.
- When considering the price of beer I am pretty much always considering the top end, but setting a minimum is a concept that I have never thought of. Maybe it will actually accomplish what they are hoping it to.
- For the “homebrewing obsession turned into brewery” story for today that I am always a sucker for I can bring you this one.
- “To all those large brewing companies out there, did you ever think that maybe some women want beer that actually tastes like beer?” Rolling my eyes at lemonade flavored beer, I think that is about as good as it can be said.
- I knew that there are a ton of breweries in the Boston area but I don’t think that I knew how I could spend quite a many days hopping from brewery to brewery without tripping over one that I have heard of. It is awesome how many small little breweries are there.
- I am considering this one my little travel guide for the next time I find myself up in Washington and wanting to spend time in the Yakima Valley.
- Speaking of beer related vacation ideas I am not at all surprised that Florida did not make the cut, but I was a little surprised that Virginia made the top five for this one.
