Ugghhh . . . I have tried to scrub that from my travel memory, but it still "ranks" up there with the worst flights. I guess I should feel fortunate that I was only dealing with audible functions this last trip!

Your ending to random thought #2 was a perfect memory of our trip to Louisville in the dead of winter. The return flight home was filled with noxious fumes, not from the ass end of the plane, but of the ass end of someone sitting next to us. From the immortal words of William S. Burroughs "It was a sound you can smell". It was so vile we couldn't stop laughing (I am gagging while i am typing this). To this day, that flight goes down in history.
