The day has arrived and I am so pleased to be posting exclusively on the new site for “A Night With The Hops!”  The work put into transitioning the content to its own domain has gone quite smoothly.  I owe many thanks to Cousin Adam and The Wife for all of their efforts in helping me along the way.  An everlasting cheers to you both!

With this being a new site, I decided to start in a good direction and formulate a plan of attack for at least the immediate future.  Giving myself a little guide for post content will keep me focused and will give everyone a better idea of what to expect.

The tentative weekly schedule is:

Monday – Food and/or travel.  Many times something will take place over the weekend involving food and drink that will be worthy of sharing.  Stories of traveling, eating, and drinking will fill in otherwise, whether what I have experienced or what I would like to.

Tuesday – Beer review.  Pretty straight forward.

Wednesday – Ongoing series or line of thought.  “My Tasting Ways” will kick things off and we will see where the topics head from there.  Interest (mine or yours) will be at the steering wheel here.

Thursday – Beer news, stories, video content, etc.  Since we all need to stay informed as to what is going on out there in the world.

Friday – Beer review.  Refer to Tuesday.

Saturday – Ongoing series or line of thought.  Refer to Wednesday.

Sunday – Random thoughts for future posts or otherwise.  Maybe a week in review or a preview of the week to come.  Perhaps I will ramble on semi-coherently about something.  It should be enjoyable for all.

The beer reviews on Tuesday and Friday are pretty well set in stone.  I have enough completed evaluations ready to keep that schedule going for quite a while (not counting those I will continue to do).  The other slots may have rogue topics at times if something comes up on a given day that is more relevant or interesting.  I think this plan is a good place to start and we will see how it evolves as the weeks and months go by.

Since the unveiling of the schedule was necessary before moving on with the week (see rogue topic comment above), today will not be a food and travel day.  I will instead leave you with a story about how one of the big American (though operated out of Belgium) brewers may be backing off their ad campaign that essentially celebrates how ordinary their product is.  I suppose this would mean some better Superbowl ads this year?
