Everyone still has until the end of the day tomorrow to enter the glassware giveaway as announced on Monday. I am thinking of a way to get my dogs to pick the winners, but haven’t had a break through on that just yet. Perhaps a beer (or two) will help the thought process as I jump in to the college football season tonight?
Sometimes news items just fall into my lap as I go about my daily routine. Mother-in-law and avid supporter of this site, Lynna, brought a rise in beer prices to my attention late last week (just after beer news Thursday). After reading that I was trying to formulate my opinion of what it means for the overall beer industry when the big brewers have to raise their prices. Then when I was reading through some of my favorite blogs, I found a post that offered an opinion on the situation that made a lot of sense to me. Since it’s the only way I can continue to learn, I will refer to those with much more beer related knowledge than I whenever possible.
The last thing today is to pay a little respect to a couple of people that made a dope like me think it was acceptable to have a website dedicated (primarily) to beer. The article is a few months old now, but it is for those of you who want to know a little more of the back-story behind beeradvocate.com and a little more about the guys who started it.
