It’s really great when I don’t have to work that hard for a post or search too long for some interesting beer news. Fortunately The Wife and The Brother-in-law passed along some great stuff this week and made it possible for me to finish before the Thursday night college football game!
If you read my earlier post regarding the wonder of doughnuts in the Pacific Northwest, you may have guessed that I like me some bacon. Of course I also love me some beer, so a combination of the two has to be a good thing!
You can taste the wondrous creation (and have a great dinner) if you will be in New York City tomorrow and bring along your credit card (because it will cost you). To be honest, I am equally excited to hear that a beer tasting of a Manhattan will be on the market soon. Enough talk from me . . . read for yourself.
Chicha was something that I had seen many times on the Travel Channel (Bourdain and others). It was also a topic of discussion at work as we tried to decide if we would drink such a thing. It was very exciting to have this video passed along to me showing that Dogfish Head is making their own version of the traditional brew. It doesn’t look like I will get to try it unless I make a trip to Delaware, but I would love to if the opportunity ever comes. Would you drink it?
